The ProHarmonia Education Centre hosted the "Democratic Values in Education" Multiplier Event during the SCIENCE - EDUCATION - DEMOCRACY conference in Kraków. Over 50 participants, including academics, teachers, and NGO activists, gathered to explore innovative approaches to fostering democracy in education. From value education to the Lego® Serious Play® method, discover how these tools are shaping the future of democratic education.

The international conference “Diversity within classrooms and societies” brought together experts to discuss teacher education as well as democracy and moral education. A special Multiplier Event, organized by the University of Education Weingarten, showcased findings from the tri-national ValiDE project. From May 2-8, 2024, the “Democratic Week” took place at UiA in Kristiansand. This annual event, dedicated to the promotion of democracy, human rights and freedom of expression, included important contributions from ValiDE associates who shared insights into the teaching of democratic values and critical thinking in education.
